          are you sure? i always thought that because if you got the dvd's it was by anime works and also i wen yo an anime con and it had invader zim stuff their too

              Anime generally refers to animated media originating from Japan.
              Invade Zim was created America.
              It also doesn't use most anime-related art styles.

              As for being released by "AnimeWorks", it seems as though Media Blasters might have just taken the series for it was popular.

                      Invader zim is kind of a cult cartoon, and it just so happens a large amount of invader zim fans like anime, so naturally they just group 'em together.

                                              yeah i still think it's an anime i mean nick puts shows on the channel and say it's anime but most of the time it isn't but invader zim i think is a anime on nick

                                                      They couldn't handle the massive amounts of WIN, then after a few years they kicked in Avatar, it was pretty decent just not as good as IZ
