    Candy

    Has anyone read Candy, by Kevin Brooks? It's set in London, talks about this guy named Joe, who meets a girl, Candy, and he finds out she's a prostitute and addicted to heroin, then he gets involved in all sorts of crazy stuff dealing with her life. I completely randomly thought of it today and I remembered I loved the book.

    My question is, was there a movie made based on this book? I keep thinking of certain parts of the story that stand out in my mind visually, with actors and actresses playing the parts of the characters, but I don't distinctly remember watching this story in a movie format at all.

      I've seen a movie called Candy - I haven't personally seen it, but I'm pretty sure it was based on the book from what I read on the back summary of it.

      Btw, I loved that book it was just...amazing!

          Although the movie has the book's name, it's not completely based off the book. First off, it was the boy who got the girl into drugs and there's no pimp. There may have been a few refences but I don't remember the guy being called Joe. And to prove it, i have the movie and book. Yup yup.
