    New to SM. Couple Questions.

    Hi,

    I was watching ThaoR's vid of Death Piano (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gZLpKhxK9w) and I want to know how to change some settings to be like his.

    When he hits a note there is a noticeable white flash, unlike when I play and can barely even tell that I successfully hit the note. Secondly, he plays with the notes in the center of the play-area. Thirdly, what noteskin is he using?

    Huh wow. It's 6 a.m. I should go to bed.

      the white flash should be there by default...im not exactly sure why its not there for you. maybe you downloaded an older version of stepmania? the most stable version as of now is 3.9 so i recommend you get that one. also to center it...well it should be in the options menu...but I'm not seeing it......im not even seeing it in the stepmania.ini file. hm i know i did it before, but i didnt like it at all so i went back to normal.

          go into gameplay options, and turn solo singles on, and your arrows should be centered.

          He's using the default noteskin, you should've received it if you got 3.95 or 3.9, not sure about 4.0 though.

          Also he is getting that white flash because he's hitting marvelouses so the only advice I have on that is uhhhhhhh improve your timing? lol

              1. Should be default. He's going so fast that the flash is illuminated almost constantly, I guess. It could also be his theme. I don't know what it is or where to find it.
              2. Options -> Gameplay Options -> Turn Solo Singles on
              3. Default noteskin, I think.
