    coincidently, i just started using energy xt2 with the intent to get producing percussion-driven tracks and also intense beats for collabs

    Depending on how long it takes me to get any good at it, I might bite.

      You could always chop up the loops.

      I have some good jazzy snare sounds, but I don't remember where I found them. Hang on, I'll look around.

      EDIT: I couldn't find where I got them, but I know for sure that they're royalty free.
