    Profile Picture Links Lock Motherboard

Lately I've had about a 25% chance when clicking on a profile picture preview that my computer will completely cease, the mouse will freeze, and no input whatsoever is accepted into my computer.

I am using Windows XP SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.12 and my Motherboard is MSI P965 Neo-F, video card is GeForce8800 GTS 640mb and my network card is a Dlink DWA-552.

    Hope this helps :S

    what is your PSU?

the problem may be that the card is drawing too much power or your drivers need to be updated

Try a different Internet browser other than FireFox for a change. Maybe your computer is acting up, because it has it's memory overloaded?

xinpig is leading in the right direction. Make sure you have enough power for that card. Its a power monger. You can always be sure of software/hardware problems if you log into safe mode with networking and try recreating the "freeze" in safe mode. If it doesnt freeze in safe mode then its a software deal. To get to safe mode press f8 or f5 before the windows boot screen then choose "safe mode with networking enabled" then log in like normally and test it

In my experiences if a mobo is bad you will completely lose an aspect of PC like sounds or net or vid, or worst case not power on. Freezing is most of the time a software issue, it can be a overheating issue as well as a lack of power. Also if you have multiple sticks of ram try it with one or the other. This could also be the problem.
