    if there is anyone who know anything about building, altering, or moding guitars, l have a question.
    l would like to take a small, beginner guitar and replace the neck with a strat.
    then suddenly, it hit me- would that inspire warping?
    so, if anyone knows about this sort of thing, enlighten me.

      why wouldn't you just play the strat instead of breaking the strat in two and putting its neck on a worse guitar

          the strat l would be taking the neck from has a bolt on neck, so (hopefully) theyre wont be much breaking involved.
          the reason why l want to basically rebuild this crap guitar may sound a little silly or wasteful even, but hear me out:
          l want to have hands on experience moding, repairing, replacing ect. guitars. so, this lil cheapo guitar should suffice.
          lll get the strat off of a friend who is doing away with it anyhow and start the experiments from there.
