I have a couple of questions.

I was wondering, how do you rip music files from a playstation game into a playable format? I know this may seem odd, but I can not figure out how songs are so commonly available in the simfile database from dance dance revolution right after they hit the stores and stuff.

Another question. Is it at all possible to burn a disk into a ps2 format? If so, can anyone help me out in that category.

Burning PS2 disks(assuming games) IS ILLEGAL, copyright infringement... so no one here can really help you...

    Google.
Actually, I am burning a movie. It is not to be discussed here. But I am trying to burn it to where I can playback on my ps2. The first response, I don't have an Ipod. I have never checked out Itunes or anything. I always believed that they were a subscriber of normal human music, i.e. rap, hip hop, pop, rock. That sort of thing.

Edit: Well, I was thinking that since there is so many different songs from games and stuff, I figured that they might have just ripped them from the game or something.

Well, besides the point, I can just copy the files straight from the CD. The only problem is that it is in some god awful format that I have never heard from. I will take that answer, but that still leaves my previous comment about the burning a movie to playback on ps2. If you really need to know, it is one of those 18+ rated XXX movies. Ok I said it, it is a porn movie! I downloaded it from the internet, now I am trying to put it into a disk so that it can play on the ps2.

Yes, dvd playback is already on the ps2, but the problem is that I am trying to play a dvd from a burned cd. It says "insert a ps or ps2 format disk."

Re: I have a couple of questions.

Ok, upon reading wiki, I think I see my error. I burned video type files on a normal disc. According to this, I need to burn it to a dvd type disk only. I will try that and come back with results.

Edit: Upon trying a dvd type disk, it still does not allow playback. I am still stuck on this.

Bootleg discs are notorious for ruining PS2's. Therefore, don't do it.

Also, it's illegal to burn ripped or downloaded movies onto disc unless you paid for the download. Therefore, don't do it.
