    Those Occaisonal N00B questions that seem to be in the wrong place...

    Here's some quick N00B questions, can you upload Anime songs? If you can...which I've seen in the SM database...how do you get "premission?"
    Oh and how do you upload songs to SM database?

      The simfile database isn't quite the same thing as submitting songs for addition into the actual game. You are supposed to be not uploading things you don't have the rights to, and if an artist wants to demand the songs be taken down, they will be.

      You can submit pretty much anything into the simfile database, because that's all it is, a big database.

      If you go to the Simfile DB section linked at the top, there's just an "upload" button. You need to have an mp3/ogg and a .sm/.dwi stepfile in a .zip in order to upload them.

          Okay, I understand...also is there any way for me to share the simfile first to make sure it's not crap and get to other people's opinions?
