Suicide Bombers
In this day and age suicide bombers are more common than what we want to believe.
They cause damage to people and property in large numbers. Their goals are to kill
humans, as many as possible. They live to terrorize people and countries all around the world to gain power. Suicide bombers get recognition from their own people,other countries by way of television and radio broadcasting. They believe they will achieve a greatness by dying for their cause. Suicide
bombers are harming people around the world because of their beliefs, and all countries need to work together to solve this problem. Suicide missions have been around since the 11th century when the assassins, the disciples of
the Persian master alumut , conducted a suicide raids on neighboring fortresses. The countries first major introduction to suicide attacks were the Japanese, kamikaze pilots of World War II. Reported by TIME April 15, 2002, their was an incident in Lebanon in the 1980s inspired by Iranian teenagers, in 1987 Iranian teenagers were dispatched by the thousands to act as human minesweepers during the Iran-Iraq war. They wore keys around their necks that were said to open the doors of paradise. In more recent incidents, their was the attack on September 11, 2001 on the United States Of America at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. This was very hurtful to Americans because it was on American soil and so many peoples family members and friends were lost. Their were also a lot of fire fighters and
emergency personal whose lives were lost trying to rescue survivors.

In Iraq the Taliban executes attacks daily on U.S. Military and other people they feel are interfering with their country. From what we understand about this country it is divided by its own beliefs. There are currently pockets of Taliban insurgents through out. That is what makes it so dangerous to travel in these areas, not
knowing if you will meet a friend or enemy. November 7, 2007 in Afghanistan, afghan lawmakers and school children were killed by a suicide bomber. There were also many bombings in Pakistan. Reported by U.S. News & World Report, August 27, Volume 143, Iss. Most of the deceased were Pashtun Now is essential for theirs brothers, cousins and other relatives to take the revenged other wise they cant survive in our society. The selection of people chosen as suicide bombers are mostly young men. Children are taught these ways from birth and it is not uncommon to see a child as young as 5 years old carrying a weapon. It has also been documented that women are forced by cult leaders to carry bombs on their body. More commonly husbands will force their wives into this mission. Men feel that their wives are replaceable. Religious beliefs are another reason that the people will go to extremes. Stated in Time Magazine July 4, 2005, First I will ask Allah to bless my mission with a high rate of casualties among Americans. Then I will ask him to purify my soul so I am fit to see him, and I will ask my Majahedin brothers who are already with him. Many of these people seek praise of their military and family for their up coming mission. They are look for eternal acceptance. In their heart they feel that their god will look at them as a better person. When they get to heaven they will get everything they wanted and will also re-unite with other deceased heroes. They feel that this is their divine mission. Suicide bombings cause international terror. This makes citizens scared to go anywhere in the country on a plane or a train. People are now more suspicious of people that look different. They were also superstitious to ride planes on 9/11. We need to solve this problem by talking to all the countries so they develop their own plans on how to deal with it. They should put some different security regulations at airports to help.

All of the countries need to meet and develop strategies to stop air plane bombings or cut them down. Also there should be somebody who can communicate with the terrorists to try and stop them from doing a suicide bombing. These suicide
bombings will continue as long as men and women believe in their purpose of doing it. Stated by Newsweek August 13, 2007 from Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center, Unless those attitudes change, there will be more than enough human bombs to keep Iraq burning for years. Countries need to develop an understanding for different cultures where the individuals are from. This is hard for Americans to understand. These cultures were taught this way by their parents from the time they were born.
