    Technical Death Metal

Discuss about metal and name a band or two.
It's always good to have a chat with other metal heads and get to know a new band.
This thread is open to ALL genres coming from metal music or that have that headbanging touch to it.

    Band List

    All Shall Perish
    Axamenta
    Behemoth
    Beneath The Massacre
    Born Of Osiris
    Demilich
    Demiricous
    Despised Icon
    The Dillinger Escape Plan
    The Faceless
    Gorguts
    The Human Abstract
    Job For A Cowboy
    Mirrorthrone.
    My Bitter End
    Necrophagist
    Neuraxis
    Norma Jean

Those are probably the most generic Tech-Death bands you could possibly listen to.

Aren't those Grindcore bands? I guess tech-death metal is a sub-series of that. Idk never heard the term.

Lookin for stuff like them, or stuff you mite like as well:
        -Behemoth
        -Norma Jean

Try Metalcore and Black metal too, mite spark your interests.

Yeah, I've heard Behemoth. Love 'em. I thought they were black metal since the guitars are pretty easy to understand.
Norma Jean's drums are sick, just because it's impossible to understand.
The Human Abstract has a little bit of prog/tech metal to them.

And yeah, Job For A Cowboy is pretty grindcore.

Check out Born Of Osiris...not really Tech Death, but they're on the same label as The Faceless, and I love them.

EDIT: Another band to look into: My Bitter End

Gorguts and Demilich are positively brilliant. (And with no core).

Hey, no problem. Never a bad thing to introduce more people to good music. I'll let you know if I think of any other bands fitting your needs. Feel free to PM me if you want too.

Gorguts isn't really my style. Bores me after awhile.
Couldn't find any Demilich. heard about them though.

That isn't really what I was asking for. But there was a time when I listened to them.

Really? Hm. I mean, I think Gorguts is a lot of things, but I could never imagine them as boring. What album did you hear?

Also, anything Demilich has ever released up for download on their site: http://www.anentity.com/demilich/
