so, l fire up my music maker and l start making a little tune. l play it back, dig it, then hit the problem, the piece needs to change. I need a bridge, but have no sense as to how to write one, thus l hit a wall (that could have been avoided with a bridge). If there are any general rules on bridge building, might someone enlighten me?

I don't know if i'm exactly the right person to give advice on this subject as i suppose alot of my music lacks change. But personally for bridges i like slow downs. Where most of the intense beats drop out and leave only a few instruments touching lightly on the original melody. Then have it slowly build up right back into the climax. -
