    Fooling around with the vocoder.

I'm still fooling around with the Fruity Vocoder, seeing what all I can do with it. A few days ago, I decided to throw some pre-made drumloops into the vocoder. Once you get past one or two EQ issues, it sounds pretty cool.

Has anyone ever tried this? What else have you done with vocoders of any kind?

edit: I haven't done a volume check, so you might need to crank this up a bit.
    edit2: Reuploaded it on boomp3.

    Doesn't work for me.

Edit: Nm. It crashed my internets, but it works now.

Won't fully load for me. Try boomp3.com or something.

It is an MK remix that I'm working on (out of inspiration from this experiment). Not on the album, but just for my remix collection.

Aww, I was hoping to hear some vocals.

I can upload some samples by the FL staff if you absolutely want some vocals.

Has anyone else thrown anything else into the vocoder besides vocals?

I've thrown many things through my vocoder. The track I am working on features vocal vocoding significantly.

i threw a squirrel in my vocoder, but that killed it. =( mr.squiggles memorial service will be held at 3pm february 10th.

i think it would be cool to put in like a really raspy snare or cymbal and mix it with a punchy bass drum.

I'll see about it putting those in there.

And send my regards to your squirrel.
