I didn't even know this song existed but this is probaly the only Hip-Hop song I enjoy. I don't listen to lyrics so I don't care about them but for once...A HIP-HOP SONG AS A BIT OF MUSICAL VALUE, not just sombody mumuring out some crap to a repetative beat.Comment

I agree. The thing I think that has made the genre go bad the most is the fact that people think that nowadays it all has to be sexually oriented. I remember when there actually were some good hip-hop songs with real messages behind them. (I can only think of about 1 or 2 good ones that were made fairly recently)...On the other hand (not looking at lyrics) it is really good from a music production standpoint. I like the beat and it has some really cool harmonies and effects in it.

QFT. Mainstream Hip-Hop is just garbage since most of the songs are about money and being sexually active. There are only a few good ones out there now but the classics are where it's at. That's how I feel about "Low", and that's also I felt about "London Bridge" by Fergie, interestingly enough. God, I hated her lyrics and her voice just in general in that song, but the beat was so dirty and awesome.
To the people who complain about modern mainstream hip-hop being too much about sex and money...yeah, that's true. But then, most modern mainstream rock is stupid crap about (ex-)girlfriends or all the problems with your relationships and stuff, isn't it? ...Maybe modern mainstream music just sucks all around.
