My name in MP isn't what it should be

I have a problem when I play multiplayer in either Spin it Up! or FFR. In both, when I enter the chat, my name shows up as 9876 (though it shows up as 09876 elsewhere, such as next to the Perfects-Goods-Averages-Misses-Boos box in FFR MP). Also, in the FFR MP, my multiplayer level does not increase, no matter how many games I win. (This is not a problem in SIU, though.) Lastly, when I am logged in as 09876, I can edit the profile of a supposedly nonexistent profile called 9876. I ran a profile search, and there is no such profile. (However, if one goes directly to here, then there is, for some reason, a profile of the name 9876, though it says that the last activity for this person is 12-31-1969.) Help would be appreciated.
