    Ok guys I need a little help

    OK There was this girl that I like but I have a small problem, my mother doesn't believe in the entire interracial junk.

    I'm white,
    She's Half-black/Half-white

    My mother (being back in the day) was raised to treat, and yes, it may seem racist, but not go out with people of African decent.

    Now I told her that I had really liked her and that she had really liked me, we have only been dating for about two weeks.

    She's amazing, and personally, I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.
    But because my mom doesn't believe in the IR relationships, I have restricted rights.

    She can't come over, I hardly see her, and when I do it's at school, and PDA is very overwhelming.

    I wish I could spend more time, but it seems like I can't.
    How could I somehow tell my mom that I wanted to go to her house?
    I mean, it's fine with her parents, but my mother does not totally agree.

    [Yes I had taken in affect that it was "my moms" house and that she has a right to choose who she wants, but it doesn't seem right for that reason. AKA Affirmative action crap]

    My father is out of this, he says I am free to date whoever I want but he... is in Iraq so I really can't do anything.

          Anyway, doesn't look like there's much you can do. You could try telling your mom that it's your right to date whoever you want, and she really has no place restricting your rights because she's of a different race, but beyond that, you're kind of stuck.

          You could try having your mother talk to her parents, but from what you've said, I don't know if she'll agree.

              Yeah, the girls mother is white, so maybe she'll reason..
              Whittling sounds long and boring, but I've done it before.

                          The only logical thing to do is lie to your mom. Tell her you're going to a friend's house to study or something. Then have a friend back you up on it.

                                      Spec beat me to my first thought. Second thought is why not spend time together somewhere outside of school that isn't at your house or her house.

                                                  I don't believe a parent has the right to decide who their child can date unless the person is in some way a physical or psychological danger to their child. Your mother has a right to her opinions, but this is also your life. Don't bring the girl home if it is going to cause issues, but otherwise I can't imagine how she can keep you from seeing your girlfriend....unless she locks you in your room.

                                                  It's important to have approval from a parent in regards to who you are dating, but when that approval is based on a person's race then I think it is completely irrelevant.

                                                          Seriously though, your mom shouldn't base who you date on skin color.
                                                          My parents wouldn't care if I date someone black or Asian or any skin color or race for that matter.
