      It would be used less often than Media, and Media is practically dead.

          it's been brought up a bunch of times before, over the years. consensus is that the majority of our users are too asian (either actually or spiritually) to care enough about sports/athletics for a subforum to be worthwhile.

          i would tend to agree with said position. sure, around football playoffs time we get a few threads... and around ncaa basketball times we get a few threads... but, really, we get MAYBE 20-30 a year. very few. easier to just leave it for CC.
