    Facts are not forever

    That's what my college professor (English Composition 1101) is saying at this moment. Discuss.

    Gravity is real! (Fact) But how long will it last??? o_O

    (In other words, I don't agree)

    EDIT: Note: She used "The sky is blue." as an example.

      That makes no sense. You can just say the sky is currently blue in this location at this time. Sounds like she's saying it will not always but if you put more restrictions on it the statement can be correct.

        Exactly! Besides, last I checked, the sky isn't even blue to begin with. I believe it all has to do with the way the sunlight refracts/reflects off the atmosphere. So, question is, should I drop this class replace it with something better?

            Wow. Normally, I would have required a vote of + 2 yes over no to change it, but bold caps lock counts for 3. :P Plus, that avatar almost got me in trouble during class from laughing.
