    Live Action "Hobbit" Film Announced

This whole lawsuit mess between New Line and Peter Jackson has been put behind them and they're going to make not one, but two "Hobbit" prequels to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Peter will serve as executive producer to the prequels. A director has yet to be named.

The Hobbit separated into two movies?

I hope they have enough damned material for it.

Just announced? People were talking about how they were planning on doing this like a year ago.

Yeah, and there's been "talk" of a live action DragonBall Z film for years now.

It's called development hell. When things come out of development hell, it's not like it's some amazing new thing. It's just going from "hey we're trying to get this movie off the ground" to "hey we're gonna make this movie and here are some preliminary specs".
