Unless you want to play it out and then go through the trouble of ordering it so it's actually on beat, no.

The only way you don't have to do that is if it's an arp.

Whats wrong with hitting each note individualy? Thats what I do. Its not really ard at all to line it up perfectly and keep it on beat...

Star, you can just play it on on a MIDI keyboard, then use the quantize tool to snap it to the nearest 8th, 16th, whatever note of your choice.

if by 'them' you mean arps--there's an arpeggiator in the channel settings under the FUNC tab.

If you're looking for preset sequences of the notes, in the piano roll have your basic melody, go to the Chop... in the Edit menu, then there should be a whole bunch of options there. Although I wouldn't recommend you choose to use a Melody or Complex one because some people will recognize those. (FL Syndrome)

Haha, if you think about when you are writing like sheet music, you are technically writing each individual note out. ^_^

FL gives you plenty of options to work with. You can Chop, quantize, snap, arp, slice, randomize note/beat, or slide, as well as apply post synthesis automated chopping, slicing, arping, muting, or whatever your brain can imagine! You can apply automated degrees of arpeggio + some phasing or flanging for some really interesting synthesis. Once you see the range of tools, your imagination can be unlimited.

I'm not talking about the note positions, I'm talking about the note lengths.

It can get really, really annoying to try to work those out.
