Wow.. they did that to me last year, but I didn't make a thread about it.

The only mirror they haven't blocked in school so far is studenteducation.net, but ffr3, 4, and 5 all work when I use my laptop at home for some reason. Though, the main site is still blocked of course.

the one's they blocked so far(that i remember) are the FFR(main) and xqsite.

The game didnt work at school though. So what else was I to do? =/

all schools in my county use the same auto filter but any website visited before a rule is created is not blocked. (so main site works but mirrors are blocked)

My school has blocked any and all data coming from this site and the server itself. So not only do none of the mirrors work, but not even widgets on unblocked sites work. I've also tried anonymizers, but it turns out someone at the company who maintains the default rules for that filter they sell, looks for all of them and blocks them all. So I'm pretty much screwed if I want to play FFR unless I set up a Remote Desktop connection (for some reason this isn't blocked), or override the school filter (I actually know the user and pass by accident, but I know all login attempts are logged, so I'd get screwed if they caught me. Especially since the school computer/network technician is my best friend's dad.

This happens on some of my school's computer. The problem is that the Flash Player player isn't updated.

Unfortunately, all the school's computers use IE, and for some reason our user permissions won't let us update the Flash Player.

So my friends and I came up with a solution and brought Firefox Portable on thumb drives to school!

My school does exactly the same, they blocked FFR because everyone went on it and nobody got their work done.

Why does everybody have such a hardcore need to play FFR during school?

I used to sleep through the school day and then after 6 agonizing hours in which I actually had to sit still for 50 minute periods (Onoz!!) I'd go home and have the remaining 18 hours to myself.
