It seems like it should always alternate from red to blue when the arrows are that distance from each other; this occurs in more than one spot (several, actually). Any technicality of tempo I am missing here, or is this an error?
Yeah, it's fun. I didn't know you are colorblind, foilman. That sucks. SkellyBones must be amazingly hard then, hahaha.
But, I'd still like to know for certain if this is intentional. It seems like an odd thing to do. It doesn't affect much gameplay-wise, but it is wrong. I didn't want to post it to bug reoprt or something though, in case it really was intentional.
not intentional. it's from the early days of the noteskin, when we didn't have colors for anything but red, blue, and yellow. so any 12th, 24th, or 32nd arrows showed up in one of the other 3.
which is what led to red note syndrome on songs. most of them were fixed by Shash a long time ago, but a few weren't. Delirium is one of them. RATv2 is another. I think Wish has 1 or 2 notes as well.
Really..... so one of those blue is supposed to be something besides red or blue altogether? Interesting. It doesn't seem like it because of it's placement. Anyway, thanks for the answer, first time I saw it, I thought maybe the background really was making me delirious, hehe.
Well, the reason why I was confused was because I never thought of the stepfile artist putting non 4ths and 8ths for this particular file when they don't go to the beat of 4ths and 8ths, haha. I knew of red note syndrome and such, but I never thought about it being like this. I thought of it as an error in the gap or an error caused by the converter awhile back.

I AAA'd SkellyBones.
EDIT: Without a doubt, Domani makes me want to sit in a warm bath and shred my wrists. That pink background gives me a headache every time I look at it.

Reason: I just realized how much I hate Domani.
I had always thought that the strange color changes were intentional. That's deliciously ironic :].
I totally did too. They're perfectly consistant and in the same spots in both the stepfile and the beat of the music. I was like "This is the like red-colourwashing in Neomax" and I actually kinda liked it.
And, no, none of it matters. The incorrect colors do not matter, nor do correct ones, because this game does not matter. In fact, anything you do outside of this game does not matter either. But, while we're here discussing the game in the R1 general chat forum, I thought I was entitled to ask the question. I was curious and got the answer I sought, so any discussion of this afterwards is really for discussion's sake anyways.
