    We Do What We Must, Because We Can

    Remix of the Portal credits song "Staying Alive". The melody was almost impossible to work with, since it's not in 8 bar phrases like the rest of the song's counterparts. I did the best I could do to work around it but I don't know if it turned out all that great

      Lol the cake is a lie ;D.
      Portal was just too easy and short... I digress.
      A great remix, the ending song always freaked me out :P.
      At around 3:40 the symbols feel weird. Not sure if they were meant to be off beat though.

          hmm... I like it untill around 3:00. The main melody mixed in with your melody clash like crazy. Also, it would be like crazy better if you would add the lyrics in there.

              Yeah, after hearing it a few more times, I realize the entire song falls apart with the introduction of the melody.

              And I would have added the vocals, if it were possibly for me to extract them. I couldn't get it to sound right at all.

                  I think there are some ripped vocals somewhere on these big internets. Ive been meaning to find them myself and remix this, but Ive been too busy. If I come accross them anytime soon, I'll post em here.
