1. Download Ventrilo
- Quick and painless. Make sure to get version 3.0!
- Download: http://www.ventrilo.com/dlprod.php?id=1
2. Setup your online alias
- Load up Ventrilo and click the arrow next to the User Name box.
- This is more than likely the name everyone will know you by, so make it good!
3. Setup the server information
- Click the arrow next to the Server box.
- Click new and name the server anything!
- In the IP box put: 208.99.211.73 and in the Port box put: 4060
4. Setup your bindings
- What is this? The key you will use to initiate communication with other FFR users!
- Click New and name the bind anything you want.
- Click Add and make sure the circle by PTT Advanced is checked and then push a button!
- Then, all you have to do is check the circle next to current channel and you're done!
5. Miscellaneous
- Before you join the server, click on setup on the right side of the main window.
- Make sure Use Push To Talk is checked.
- The other options are something you have to fiddle with yourself. Basically, just make sure you have something selected under Hardware Input Mixer.
