    Enable option to turn off backgrounds.

    I'm serious, I cannot for the life of me AAA SkellyBones. Why? I always think there's an arrow when there isn't, or I have to blink or otherwise my eyes will bleed, because of the background. It plays with your eyes. Nearly any song with any sort of background does this. Caprice is an exception, but I'm pretty sure every other background in the game screws you over.

    And P4UV2's background animations should be totally eliminated. I doubt anybody enjoys them, and they make the song have glitches and be annoying. Not to mention that I can't play it without constantly getting seizures.

                                  I'm very curious as to why it can't happen.. Most people play SM over FFR, because of the variety of options there fyi.

                                      All I can think of is:
                                      - It would be unfair to give people playing now an advantage over the people who played before, who had to actually AAA it even with the background.
                                      - It would be way too hard to do (doubt this one).

                                      If neither of those are it, then I really can't think of a reason this shouldn't happen. The backgrounds are a problem for a lot of people; I'm one of them, I'd like to see it happen just as much as everyone else. If everyone wants it to happen, I don't see why it shouldn't (unless fairness is the reason).

                                                  They would never know that you used it.

                                                  Anyway, I don't think fairness should be the reason, if it is. A game as simple as this needs good options. People play better under certain conditions. It's fair for them to have the option to turn it off.

                                                  EDIT: Should just turn Boost into Background on the mod list. It isn't used anyway. =\ I'm sure the people that have already beaten the songs with stupid backgrounds would be for doing this anyway.

                                                      @Jammy: I wouldn't consider it cheating because it's not changing any of the game play.

                                                      @ RN: True, options are good and maybe an option like that will show up in the third style.

                                                      People have been calling for backgrounds to be gone, etc for a while and every time I've seen it come up it's answered with "no, not gonna happen".
