They agreed to let us use the music, as long as credit was given. The music is similar to Gradius, since it's by the same makers, Konami, and it has the same basic gameplay.
The track is 4:53, with a bitrate of 167kbps. The start of it is a fade-in, so that might have to be cut a bit.
This track has always caught my ear for FFR potential, but to be bluntly honest, I don't have the proper skills to do it justice yet. I can do basic steps for it for a dancepad, but nothing I'm happy with for FFR.
It's a longer than average song, but the quality overrides that.
I'm considering offering cash to stepfile makers if they get certain songs into the game. This would be one I'd pay out for.
