    I need help with a song!

    I'm not sure what to call it yet, but I need some help. It's a sort of crazy breakbeat style track, with LOTS of distortion. Seeing as I don't use distortion much, I'm having trouble getting certain things to sound really good I can't find any good bass sounds that really fit in.

    Breakbeat Demo

    What I know is bad:
    -The bass synth is WAAYYY too bassy
    -The sort of fuzzy trance synth is a tad echoey
    -The drums might need a syncopated hat beat

    What sounds good:
    -The drums sound GREAT

    Any suggestions?

      I don't know anything about Breakbeat, but this sounds awesome man, keep it up!

          I think a moog bass would sound cool with this... I'd experiment with that. And sidechaining the drums and lead synth together might help rid of imminent muddiness, 'cuz that synth is pretty loud.

          I like this a lot though so far! I can't wait 'til it's complete. :D

          Edit: and oh yeah. It does seem that your synth is a bit too reverbish. That shouldn't be too hard to fix, just tone down the reverb / release.

              Well, I have bad news. I had no choice but to terminate the song as I don't have the registered version of FLStudio (and thus I couldn't save), and the fact that my dad is paranoid about viruses XP
