    The level ranks...?

    Is FFR undergoing updates? That's what my overall rank says...

    But it's showing some weird level ranks on my profile

    like my over the rave score

    it says rank 468 or something crazy like that

    and I'm pretty sure I got rank 90-ish.

          FFR has been acting up alot recently.. I wouldn't be surprised if it was again... It usually doesn't take this long to update. Normally, it's about ten seconds. I think it's been around thirty minutes this time. lol

              but idk why the site is CONSTANTLY saying updating, it's rather annoying if you ask me

                      Your level ranks are fine. If you run the levelrank.php thingy, youll see your correct stats. Its just a profile bug.

                                      It's only happening in the top 10 levels. And just so you know, everyone's is the same, including score / rank. I haven't even played Synthful Sub and I have the same score on it as TS_SonicMaster, and everyone else probably does too. But in my levelrank it's correct.

                                                      Mine have this issue as well, is FFR fully linked to the forum? That is the stupidest idea ever to keep the login system as part of the forum, everyone knows you never match your most important function with your most vuernable one, that is basic Information Assurance. Either way, I can no longer see anyones ranks, I can no longer receive credits for songs, I can't load profiles properly. It is acting as if the entire FFR server is having issues, and there shouldn't even be that much load on it. Whatever is wrong is rather confusing, and though I hope you can fix it - you've left the entire server a giant weak spot if FFR and all the other games / login systems are linked to the forum.
                                                      In due time once all modern architecture is gone it will be called ancient. Because no matter how hard we work to perfect something, as time will progresses we shall dwell upon how imperfect it really was.

                                                          Actually, the process by which we handle ranking is in no way tied to the forum or any other component of FFR.

                                                          The stats have gotten so large we are reworking functionally the way ranking is done. It will have no affect on the users, just the way the database structure and queries are written. It is no small task with 1.3 million users ranked within the system.

                                                          Vests, if you have other issues, please document them in a a different thread rather than taking this one off topic. A lot of updates have been going on over the last few weeks, and some are pretty significant overall.

                                                          Please have patience, and hopefully today, ranks will be back online.
