    [Suggesstion] Amateur Brag Board

This wouldn't need to be its own forum, so much as a subsection inside the brag board or even just a new sticky, but I've noticed a number of times where someone will post a thread in the brag board, only to be told sometimes politely, sometimes not, that their score isn't actually very good.

I've had a few scores that I thought were good enough to want to go "Hey guys, look at this!" only to look through the ffr scores threads and go "Oh...my score isn't nearly good enough to post in here, and -definitely- not good enough for its own thread...I guess I'll just not post anything"

Might be nice if there were a place specifically for the amateurs and n00bs to post scores that they are proud of.

Ya, I think a sticky is in order. Back when I first started, I got scores that were really good for me at that time, but not to get any positive comments, it caused me to not make any posts in that sticky.

well i always thought the negative comments and other peoples good scores were encouragement. but i know some people's minds work the opposite way, so thats fine. of course i can also see that slowly turning into the same thing because there ishnt a cutoff for good/bad and so some good people might want to seem super leet or something and will post there wicked scores in there thinking they are uber pro. idk im not explaining this well but its definitely not a bad idea. i support.

Well the point is that you're allowed to be a little critical of people posting unimpressive scores in the Brag Board normally, but there'd be a rule against such things in the newbie brag board the same way there is against doing it in the newbie forum.

The point would be a place where new players can post "good for new players" scores, and be encouraged and appreciated by the other new players.

Yes, I think it's a good idea!! I'm a newbie, and I'm sometimes proud of myself, making a FC, but I can't share it here, because it's not that good comparative with hardcore FFR players...

@HemuliMan And? We refer to a lot of the experts as "Pros" but in order to have become a professional from an amateur, you have to be getting paid, which FFR pros aren't.

The word has just also come to commonly mean "A more casual player" of a given game, sport or persuit.
