Yeah, I saw something about courses or whatever in another thread, that one's getting pretty popular, so this one might die out. Anyways, I personally am not a fan of the idea.
And ugh, you spelled but as butt in the thread name, they are a bit different.

Bigger combo=takes up more of my screen=not good. I sometimes like to keep track of what I'm up to, anyway, though.

It's not actually Stepmania, In The Groove came up with it, I had a TWO THOUZAND COMBO with a Pad at my friends house on ITG 1

Youre wrong here, ITG did not make it up first. ITG and ITG2 are just remade stepmanias.

indeed you are right, but I think it might be cool to try out, if it didnt have any complications on the scoring or whatever

They could make it not affect your score, but make it still show up as a combo that carries over from one song to the next. Still, I'd still just consider it to take up more of my screen.
