This pisses the hell out of me for wayyy too may reasons.
1. You know it's gonna be crap.
2. Live action movie. Except for CG Garfield.
3. It might have been more standable they CG'd Odie too, but they didnt. GOD DAMNIT, THAT'S NOT ODIE!!
4. Look at his comics in the funnies. Go ahead, get your newspapers and look. See the difference in this Garfield and the comic Garfield? The Garfield I grew up with NEVER ran ANYWHERE except MAYBE when stealing food, eating food, or avoiding becoming food. The Garfield I grew up with had a bland "Im bored, I think I'll go kick Odie" personality. He did not dance with shades or do Elvis impersonations in front of a mirror. JOHN WAS THE ONE WHO WOULD DO ELVIS IMPERSONATIONS, TO WHICH GARFIELD WOULD INSULT HIS DORKINESS! They're killing him!
Ive almost had it with Hollywood. This is the second-to-final straw. If they touch Peanuts or Calvin and Hobbes, there will be bloodshed.
