****, i messed up again

2 problems, both of which are preventing me from completing my first song.
sorry for the long-ish read (help on #1 is greatly appreciated)

1) i was editing the mp3 for the song due to a glitch i noticed on the resonance player where when i was testing my uploaded file, the song wouldn't stop until the actual mp3 stopped. But when i was editing i made the song 3:47 instead of 3:57 and the ****** program automatically deleted a couple seconds of silence in the beginning completely ******* up the sync that i had done a very good job on so far. Do i have to get a new mp3 due to the fact my favorite little mp3 editing program deleted the backup mp3? (i left the steps alone so if i found an identical file i can just change the .SM mp3 location)

2) There is a part in the song i am stepping (along with my above grievance) where i just cant figure out two segments of the song. I plan on uploading the incomplete file onto the simfile DB (assuming i can fix my first problem :,) for testing and i will delete it when i have feedback.


Any help whatsoever is appreciated as this file has taken me WEEKS to get this far.
