    KotORII - Creepy

This happened to me about two years ago, I can't really remember.

So I picked up my copy of Knights of the Old Republic II, and as you may have guessed, commenced the slaving to my monitor. I was about a week into it when I got onto the Ravager, or something like that (right before Malachor V), when I happened to notice that my party members had reverted to the state that they joined me from, that is, back to level 6 and without any gear. This was strange, so I reverted to an earlier save, only to find I had no party members whatsoever. So I go the party select screen, only to find blank slots and a message reading "I AM BROKEN SO VERY VERY BROKEN".

Oh God, it scared the sh!t out of me. I hardbooted and stayed away from KotOR for at least another week. Yes, I'm a coward. This is supposed to be a rather common finding, even KotOR I users have found it. Since this is such a "widespread" glitch, I figure at least some forum dwellers have experienced it. If you have a story, please share. If you're currently in the phych ward from reaction to said glitch, then that's okay too.

    Re: KotORII - Creepy

When I get freaky glitches, I turn off the system and walk away. I don't know why, they just scare me. But most glitches, I enjoy and mess around with. But if it's weird like every character is freaking out and like it's just going crazy. When I was younger, on Wario for gamecube, I used gameshark, and I could make Wario about 700 times the stage. I really tried to stay away from those kind of things. I think I'm scared of breaking systems/games. On zelda for gameboy, some glitches can completely kill your gameboy.

PS: you ate my brains *cough siggy link cough*

      Make Wario what? Appear?

And yes, thank you for the lovely brain. It was a bit stale, though.

Wait, did you use a Gameshark code to enlarge him or did that happen while using the Gameshark for something else? If the former applies, then that's not a glitch, that's just a cheat code.

It's a glitch done by gameshark, it's not a code/secret. Trust me. K lets stop trolling

              *rerails topic*

This is supposed to be a surefire way to see the glitch in action (in KotORII):

Get Handmaiden on your team. Talk to her on the Ebon Hawk and get her to train you in Echani combat. She will say that you may use no armor, weapons, or items in the fight. Agree to the terms and start the match. Notice how the screen fades into the new scene, and if you look over at Handmaiden, her name will be blue for just a moment before changing to red and attacking. In the time her name is blue, quickly equip a weapon or put on armor. She will say you have violated the terms and ends the match. Now go to the party screen and the message should show.

Note: You must be a male character to get Handmaiden. Sorry about that.

Just because I haven't seen some strange sh!t before doesn't give you the right to mark me as a noob.

                        Re: KotORII - Creepy

I hate glitches. Oblivion had my most recent glitch. I was just walking around then all of the sudden I fall through the roof of a building into this vast nothingness. So there I am walking around in this immense plain of blankness with absolutely no hope of salvation. I tryed to fast travel to a new location...but the game froze. So I lost 5 hrs of gameplay and got so mad that I quit playing for 2 weeks. but now I remember to save periodically and life is good =)

If you fear glitches the game for you is Eternal Darkness for the gamecube. It scared the crap out of me. Seriously check it out.
