    Bassline creator?

Hi all! Im looking for a piece of software that will allow me to create some great basslines! I already have a good synthensizer called absynth and was looking for something a little less synthensized and a little more BASS!!! =D
    Anybody have any good suggestions?=)
    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Bassline creator?

i like to use audiorealism bassline 2, its really awsome for acid sounds and all basslines in general, might take a minute to look around in it and learn it but shouldn't take you that long, im pretty sure u could download a demo and look at it before u buy

PS, you could make plain bass sounds in FL studio witht he 3xosc aswell, with the right effects can sound really cool(im assuming you use that here :P, if not, well theres alot of bassline VSTi's out there also, also try a bass guitar with effects, could sound really cool)

First of all, the word synthesize means to generate something. You use a synthesizer to create bass. Absynth is a really great synthesizer. If you are using Absynth 4 you actually have the ability to draw your own waveforms. If you don't know what a bass waveform would look like... maybe you should do some reading up on sine waves and triangle waves. It's not like it's top secret info. Low frequency makes a bass sound. Longer wavelengths is less frequency. It's not rocket science.

...If you have Absynth... Continue using it... It's one of the most powerful VSTi's on the market... I'm sorry you can't find the right preset to use... But all those knobs and LFO's, etc, actually do something...

And Krazy saying that if you're not happy with Absynth and instead trying out 3xosc, is like saying, you're not happy with America? You should try Iraq!

All 3xosc literally is: Three Times Oscilator. Or in ULTRA layman's terms: THREE OSCILLATORS. Absynth has that, since it is one of the many plethora of features Abysnth has...

But yeah... If you really ARENT happy with Absynth for one reason or another, be sure to check out my Best VSTi's Thread... Something there outa strike your fancy...

      With much love,

It's also not the instrument that you use, but what types of filters, effects, and other post-composition stuff you can put on it. If you know what you're doing, you can make a bassline sound like a high OSC for all I care.

        As for an actual programs-
        For Acid tracks: BassLine
For everything else: Pentagon I. You can get a really gritty sound from it.
