    Vaeringard's Poetry Corner.

So I have a TON of poetry laying around somewhere, I just need to find it, but in the mean time, here's a couple of older poems I had thrown on poetry dot com for a bit, and wasn't too bad..the second one is my better one, and newer of the two, as well as most liked thus far.

    Abandoned

    The moon beams on flesh,
    The sun burns the soul.
    The winds slowly grow
Just as the tears begin to flow.
    As you shout and holler,
You finally feel that binding collar.
No one can hear you, your senses say.
You've been locked away, and left alone.
    You've been abandoned,
Never again will you see your home.

    Me and you

    The sky is blue,
    the night is black,
Turn right, and there is our future track.
    The night is dark,
    The day is bright,
There is no use in trying to fight.
    You take my breathe,
    You take my hand,
Together we will remain in never never land.
Me and you, forever we will remain.
Our love, together, we shall maintain.

Poetry.com a.k.a. the International Library of Poetry is a complete and absolute scam that preys on less experienced poets. If you copy the nutrition info from the back of a Campbell's soup can and send it in, it will proudly inform you you're a semifinalist and try to sell you a $50 book of crap. Try it some time. It's a scam.

      ...

This had everything to do with his poem.

It had everything to do with a moral sense of responsibility towards minimizing victims of a fraudulent organization.

        P.S.
When your father's marching up the stairs towards the computer to take it away from you, you tend towards the quickest most productive comment. No time for an in depth response.

        P.S.S.
Your comment had so much to do with his poems too. I'm suitably chastised. o.u
