I get out of school early because I have early release and was hoping to pick up a copy of the game before all the little kiddies got out of school and bought all the copies of the game. I get in the store and head straight for the games. I find 2 full rows of Halo 3, and ask the guy at the counter if I could buy a copy. He takes his sweet ass time finding his keys, walking very slowly and opens up the box and grabs it. Then he takes his sweet ass time getting back to the register. He asks for my I.D. (I'm 17) and tells me he can't sell it to me because EVEN THOUGH the game says "Mature 17+", the game can only be sold to 18 year olds.
So since when are mature rated games only sold to 18+ year olds in the US?
Edit: I've been googling this topic and haven't found anything saying "Halo 3 (or mature rated games) cannot be sold to 17 and under" yet.. I think the guy was just being a dick head.
