    Drowning Pool Backs U.S. Troops

Rockers Drowning Pool are calling on the U.S government to improve services for troops suffering from mental health disorders.

The band traveled to Washington D.C on Wednesday to meet with ministers to discuss the Lane Evans Mental Health Care Reform Bill and hand a petition to Congressman Jim Moran.

In order to support the Bill - which aims to expand mental health care for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans - the band will donate a portion of profits from their tour "This Is For The Soldiers."

94.5 The Buzz is Houston's Rock and Alternative with big personalities like the Rod Ryan Morning Show, Theresa, A.D., Karah Leigh and more playing artists such as Muse, Beck, Twenty One Pilots, Foo Fighters, Theory of a Deadman, Cage the Elephant and more!

Thats cool how a band is trying to help out our soldiers. It isn't that they support the war, but the soldiers themselves. Thier song "Soldiers" is pretty good too!
