Bob Dylan fans were in for a real treat when the rocker took to the stage at the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night - he was joined by Elvis Costello and Jack White.
Costello is scheduled to open for Dylan on tour starting this Saturday, but he thought he'd surprise his hero with an early appearance in Nashville.
And The White Stripes star White, who lives nearby, decided to join them onstage.
Costello walked onstage unannounced and performed a nine-song acoustic set that included "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding" and "Veronica," according to CMT.com.
White performed Dylan's "Meet Me in the Morning" during the folk rocker's set.
This was White's first public show since he announced he was canceling The White Stripes’ tour 2007 dates to allow bandmate Meg White time to recover from acute anxiety.
