The Beastie Boys are revisiting their instrumental album 'The Mix-Up' by asking a number of singers like Jarvis C0cker from Pulp, Lily Allen and M.I.A. to rework tracks and add vocals.
The album was released to lukewarm reviews in June and rapper Adam "MCA" Yauch hopes new lyrics will give the project a boost.
He tells Billboard.com, "We're talking to some different artists who might do kinda like remixes and put vocals on it, so it wouldn't be us doing vocals on it.
"It would be kind of like a different version of the album, with a bunch of people guesting on it."
