    9/17/07*** Final Fantasy 7 Remake!! Confirmedd

    "Rumors about a Final Fantasy VII remake just wouldn't stop. Actually, this has been going on for years now but the rumors went full swing again after a secret cinematic video was uncovered in the PlayStation Portable video game Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

    The title has just been released in Japan this week. Anyway, there's a Crisis Core collector's edition bundle for Japan that includes a book. According to some, Square Enix has left yet another hint in the said book that it is indeed remaking FF VII.

    We have here some of the scans and one of the pages read, "We hope to meet in Final Fantasy VII again!" Like we said before, this sentence is open to a lot of interpretations.

    But we guess nobody can really blame the fans for wishing that this is a sign of good things to come - that good thing is in the form of an improved and enhanced Final Fantasy VII whether on the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable." - PSPupdates.com

    It seems Square Enix has listened. It also seems I'm going to **** my pants during the Tokyo Game Show.

          It sure would be awesome if they re-made FF7, even if it was just a remake of the same exact game only with maybe.. better graphics or something. It's hard to improve upon greatness.

              OMG! Please GOD let there be a FF7 remake. That is my ALLTIME favorite game in the world. I've been waiting for so long. Nothing can compare to the story, the gameplay and most of the characters. Wow! I really hope it happens soon.

                                      Final Fantasy 7 is 99% overrated. The only reason you guys love it is because it was your first (or one of your first) RPGs, and DEFINITELY your first 3D RPG. If the exact game had instead come out today under another title (that is to say, NOT a Final Fantasy game), it wouldn't receive ANY attention at all, except maybe something to the effect of "wow that new square enix game is nothing special."

                                          I'll only buy an FFVII remake if they keep in all the grammar and spelling errors. For that same reason, I'm debating whether or not to buy FFT: War of the Lions. If I don't see "Life is short, bury! Steady Sword!" for the skill Stasis Sword, I'll be sad

                                          Oh, and "Off, course!" is simply the best line ever.

                                              i'm sick of people saying stuff like this, it wasnt my 1st RPG or 3D RPG and i've played loads of RPG's since and i still love it. It's a matter of personal taste.

                                                  I might go back and play FF7 to see if I like it after many years, but I kinda started hating regular RPGs a number of years ago. RPGs used to be my favorite genre, too.

                                                  I guess once I discovered that moving around and actually aiming was more engaging I lost all interest. I hate "sucking" at a game just because I haven't fought the same enemy enough times. =\
                                                  So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

                                                  In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

                                                  So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
                                                  And I write the blog for their website.

                                                  Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

                                                      You're right it was my First 3d RPG with great FMVs and great graphics and story for it's time. The only reason I love it still, is because it is what it was. Your right if another game outside of the final fantasy franchise or outside of sqaure enix came out I wouldn't even play it. I just wouldn't care. Square won me over with FF7 and every other FF following it. Once FF7 remake comes out, no questions about it. I'm buying a PS3. There is no thinking about it. I will buy it.

                                                          The original Final Fantasy has been the only Final Fantasy worth playing in my opinion. It's the only RPG that I've played with a high replay value.
