    I can see the light!

Well, I had an old account on FFR that I used for about a year and a half (It was shared between a friend and I so I made a new one today), so Ive been playing quite a long time. I never really got connected with the community so much on the forums though.

Well, what this thread is about..I always played 1-handed. Thats just how I learned it. Thats how I thought it was, but as I got better and better, some songs just seemed rather ridiculous. After hearing about 2-handed styles, I didnt really know how to do that, so I never really tried that. But after just recently reading a thread where Shashakiro said "Use the 8 and 6 on numpad, and down and left arrows". Now, Im playing songs like 20,000 times better.

THANK YOU, for showing me the light. lol

    No problem.

I went from one hand to index to spread-index hybrid to spread.

I think i'll stay with spread from now on.

Index: Using just the index finger of each hand on the keypad
Spread: Using two fingers from each hand on some set of keys

So I presume their Index-Spread Hybrid is either 1 finger and 2 fingers, or they just mean that some songs they did spread and some songs they did index.
