    I can't make my own speedmods?



    I keep getting this message and I can't save the metrics file.

      Also could be cuz something is messed up in there....

        pic of the folder you're trying to save it in, or a pic of the folder /default/

        whichever has metrics.ini shown

          Ok step by step here is what I do...

          First I go to the folder.


          Then from there I double click, open metrics and add in speed 12 and the C600.


          Then I click save and it brings up the message in my first post. After I click ok it brings up the save as option.


          Wether I name it metrics or metrics.ini it brings up the message shown in my first post.

          This also occurs in the languages folder too when I add in the C600=C600.

          I understand this is the ever so buggy Vista but I have also tried running as adminstrator and ended up with the same result.

            That's odd. Try taking your metrics file out of the folder and saving it into the folder.

              Save it onto your desktop instead of saving directly back into the folder, then copy and paste/drag it from the destop into the folder.

              All Program Files folders are like this.

                It's Windows Vista, remember? Most likely you need to right click the folder and click properties, security, and add your user name with full rights.
