Endo's Music. Please Critique and such

DJ EnDorphin's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Feel free to critique all of my songs, I would greatly appreciate any tips and opinions.

You can tell the quality and time I made each song.
Top one is earliest, bottom was made about 2 days ago.

these tracks don't seem anywhere near full length. they don't seem to build or progress in any sort of way. it just seems like you add in a new sound every few bars and have a drum set of presets hammering away. i would definitely consider practicing with various effects and drifting away from using presets. the best way to learn is experimentation. i hope you're not taking that too harsh because i don't mean it that way at all. also... definitely put more time into your tracks. i read a Q & A from a big name drum'n bass producer and they said they spent about 7 months just configuring their drums and basslines. take your time. there's no rush with a hobby like this.

best of luck to you in your production.

Nice Beach On Mars - Starts out nice with the pads and such... Kind of really repetitive and the drums don't go anywhere, as well as not enough substance with them...

One Jazzy Morning - Starts out nice as well. Just doesn't go anywhere. Except when you make it all nintendo-y and bring in the ...gongs?

Whackyprunes - Definately sounds like you made it in FLS. Yes?

Skirmish In The Sand - Not too bad... Only thing that really threw me off was that your kicks are off beat... Move 'em over to be on beat with the song, right now they're where your snare hits should be... You know?

...Anyways... You're stuff isn't bad... Defiately sounds like you know the program... Just gotta refine your sound and you'll be good to go

Skirmish the kicks aren't off beat that I can hear.
I did the whole DJ Sharpnel Kick on 4ths bassline on 8ths.
Besides that yeah, my music doesn't go anywhere apparently, thinking about just Uninstalling FL and giving it to a friend.
