    I've been wondering about the guests:

    Currently Active Users: 574 (76 members and 498 guests) for example.

    Why are there so many guests in the forums? I've noticed that during any time of day there's always an excessive amount of guests lurking about. Usually they will outnumber the current active registered users 4:1. They're harmless I know, but strange to have over 1000

    Is it due to the popularity of FFR and its forums, combined with the laziness to create a username, that brings about such a high number of guests? Or is it something else?

    Thoughts?

      I don't see what's so bad about creating a username.

      Can we all agree that people have gotten over the "teh interwebz is 4 stalkerz" phase? Otherwise, I don't see why they don't join.

      Then again, maybe the guests are a whole ton of underaged users...

          Or maybe, it's because registered users are too lazy to login. I do that most times unless I post something (which I login after I hit the reply button) or play ffr. Other than that, I'm usually logged out.

                      I've yet to come to a conclusion about the high number of guests, so I'm wondering what you all think.
