I wouldn't call that "vandalism". Vandalism would be adding a line saying "Halo sucks balls and sony is much better". Saying that the graphics won't look any better is a combination of opinion and fact. The graphics will be rendered on the same platform, and thus, it is to be expected that there will not be any leaps in graphical quality, and personal preference comes into the matter here. That is why what they did is not right for Wikipedia... something cannot have an objectively "better" look.
Also, it was probably just an individual at the company doing this. I seriously doubt that Sony would officially assign someone the job of editing rival companies' wikipedia articles, ESPECIALLY since the edit was done so poorly. There are a multitude of things which would be added without making it so blatantly biased.

Yeah this is pretty retarded, a company wouldn't do something like that. They'd just make a commercial bashing them outright if they wanted to make a statement.
However, bad press is bad press, so it kinda sucks for Sony if this comes back to bite them. =\So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Wikiscanner. It's a new thing for the public some guy made where you can take a IP from a edit and see what else they have edited.
some guy obviously saw a guy kept on vandal that kept editing games wiki pages with stuff like "Not going to be on Xbox360, take that."
Looked up the IP on wikiscanner and it happened to be from a Sony company.
Thus it got spread around and such and made into news.
Seems like sony have some pretty stupid employees.Comment

Some guy who works at Sony, you mean. A member of the company represents the company in all his actions. That's how business works. Say you're the receptionist at the front desk. You may not even know what the company does. However, you're there to greet people as they come in, and if you somehow made someone angry, it's likely they'll never buy products from your company ever again.Comment
