    Like reggae?

Turns out the legendary group Toots and the Maytals who were both contemporaries and labelmates of Bob Marley and Peter Tosh (yet for some reason go unrecognized in many mainstream circles) just put out a new album called "Light Your Light." I was pretty skeptical when I got the cd at work at umgd cause they are a pretty old band but it turns out they are still on their a-game. You can listen to a few of the songs on their myspace. Interested to hear what you all think.

Toots And The Maytals's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

I think that the FFR Funk section is in serious need of some help, were using it for storage for Pete's sake! I plan on stepping songs in the near future, I will be sure to try and contact this artist amongst others for permissions.

I was skeptical about clicking the link as I have heard plenty of crappy reggae in my life, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I'm more of a dub fan myself, but the tunes ain't bad.

          They are good.

I don't really listen to much reggae, but I like basically of it that I hear. I'm going to see Stephen Marley on October 11th.
