It was amazing. got there at around 5:45 and chilled with friends till 6:30. We all went in, and heard this awesome band that we had only heard a few songs from, Ozomatli (http://youtube.com/watch?v=J-A_1CnjwaI). They were awesome, put on a great show. It was especially great seeing all the old people on ecstasy dancing crazily. When they were done, they climbed into the growing standing ground and formed a conga line while playing random songs. When they passed by where me and my friends were standing they took one of my friends' pair of glasses. I would go and see them alone, they were so good.
After Ozomatli, the band we were pretty much all there for, Slightly Stoopid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEpeLwR_Tl8) came out. We were standing facing the middle of the stage, with probably only 5 rows of people in front of us. When they were playing some crazy punk rock song, a huge moshpit was started and I ended up in the middle a lot. Very fun. During Slightly Stoopid there was a lot of recreational drug use going around, the area smelled pretty strongly. Their set was amazing, crowd surfing is awesome, and if anyone has a chance to see them go do it.
After Slightly Stoopid was G. Love and Special Sauce (http://youtube.com/watch?v=mUH4zPdpbug). They are also great. Awesome mix of rap/hip-hop, rock, ska and reggae. We stayed for their whole set, totally worth it. Ya that's about it. Summer Haze tour was probably the best concert I've ever went to. Go if you can.
