    how do i become a mod... a forum mod

    i am wondering how to become a mod... cause chances are a mod will read this

      Well by posting and asking about becoming a mod you will have no chance. I believe it says somewhere that you will never become a mod is you ask to be one or something like that.

          You have to pass a painful / humiliating test... someone please continue this story, because I have nothing funny. =(
          Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

                                                      I can tell from observation that the mod process here worked exactly like it does on another online game. Let me see if I have this right:

                                                      1/ Some combination of admins says "I think we need a new mod for X"
                                                      1a/ Admins have been paying some attention to people, especially person Y lately
                                                      2/ Admins say "Hey mods, we were thinking of promoting person Y"
                                                      3/ Mods say one of "Sure why not" or "Over my dead body"
                                                      4/ If no mods say "Over my dead body" with good reasons, person Y is approached
                                                      5/ If Person Y is interested, Person Y becomes moderator Y
