    higher score without FC, FC record disappears

    I've been working on FC'ing lately, so I've been keeping a constant eye on FCs, and suddently the FC count went down after I was trying zelda remix on 2x, I had a lot more perfects and out of pure luck managed to almost FC it (still getting used to 2x), but missed the last few arrows, but I managed to get a higher score then when I FC'd it, and then the asterisk beside zelda on the level rank page disappeared, and the bar went down by one, now I'm guessing that isn't supposed to happen, and I'm guessing it's not a common occurrence since usually you have to at least FC to beat your old FC score,

    I've FC'd it again, but the asterisk won't come back, I've heard you need to beat your old score to have the FC show up, but I've recorded several FC's on other songs with worse scores, so I'm not sure really what's wrong

    I've also FC'd destiny with a higher score, and it didn't record today, so that's twice I've been screwed over today, I guess I'll have to remember to take screenshots of everything significant from now on, bleh

      It's most likely just that it's recording your best score and puttiting it doesn as the non-FC.

          correct me if I'm wrong, but should not a record of a full combo be permanent, regardless of a higher score, it was still FC'd at one point, and that record should not disappear, so is this behaviour by design, or a bug?

              The score in your level rank will be the score that determines wether you have an FC on it or not.

                  similar thing happened to me i got a score on a song didnt FC it
                  and then i FCd it alot of times but i cant beat that non FC score its just better

                      Suggestion for FFR admin:
                      The "your best rank" number has to be calculated the same way as the ranks in "your level ranks". As you have probably noticed, those ranks go up as more people get a better score than yours.
                      The new rank for a song must be compared to your current rank, NOT to the rank you got for that song when it first came out, and inevitably got a good rank because not many people had played it.
                      If the "best rank" number was set so that it changed too, this would solve the problem.

                      Having said that, I realise that this would not completely solve the problem; as it is possible to get a better score while not FCing a song than FCing it.

                      In conclusion, I propose the following as a solution:
                      FCing a song should NOT be related to your score OR your rank. It should be a separate calculation all together.
