    Lagging on streams of arrows

    Ok, every time I play a song like say, Vertex Beta with a ton of streams, I miss a ton of them that i KNOW i'm hitting, and I have to hit most of the stream almost a full beat early.

    Every other song I play without these streams at this speed I have no problem with, nor do I have to hit them early.

    My computer is not lagging, i'm running a computer that can process fifty different videos in After Effects 7.0 Pro running at 25FPS real time, while exporting video in Virtual Dub as I run a virus scan all at the same time, so there's no way it's being lagged by FFR.

    I tried setting the quality to lowest, no help either.

    And if you think it's my own skill;

    That's my account on SMO, full combo except for one good, 19 greats, 243 perfects and 1406 marvelous. I've gotten an AAA on it as well offline, so yeah...

    ...considering i'm getting upwards of fifty/sixty misses, etc. and only on the streams unless I hit them a full beat early, when I play them on FFR, something's up.

    The only thing I can think of is that I only play at speedmod 1.5x, so maybe the program's getting confused because the arrows are so close together? :/

    Re: Lagging on streams of arrows

    welcome to FFR... we have Jack Syndrome! the frames of some of the arrows on faster songs overlap each other, causing you to hit the 2nd arrow before hitting the 1st in a jack... resulting in a miss on the 1st arrow, an average on the 2nd arrow, and a boo for trying to hit them both.

    they appear in any song with 8th jacks over 180bpm... vertex beta's stream is 200bpm.

    result: gotta hit early to avoid jack syndrome.
