    Yamaha MM6

I was poking around my local music store today when I came across this amazing keyboard. I can't go into detail about it because it would take to long so here is a link to it

I know it is really pricey but the guy selling it has offered to take 100$ off the price for me. I was wondering if anyone else has used something like this and if I should go for it.
    And the pea mocks me.

You consider $600 pricey for a keyboard??? Well, in your case, $500.

What are you looking to use it for? There are two types of keyboards in my experience:

-The ones that you use for simple sampling for computer/DJ use only, which tend to have relatively few keys.

-The ones for performance and signature sound.

This keyboard is too big for the former and lacks the features required for the latter. Personally, if I were you, I'd either get a compact that's good quality and has plenty of interfacing options with your computer and equipment, or I'd get a real keyboard for performance. I have a Roland Fantom X-7, and there are a number of other synths out there that are very high quality.

    There's a reason the guy's giving you a $100 discount.
